INQUEST AT WAIHI.
INFANT DROWNED ON THE ROAD. IBT TELEGRAPH.OWN* CORRESPONDENT.] W Aim, Wednesday. The inquest touching the death of Norma Beryl Rowe, the infant who was drowned on Friday last in Kensington Road, was held before the district coroner, Mr. W. M. Walinutt, last evening. A verdict of accidental death was returned. The coroner described the place as dangerous, and intimated his intention of asking the authorities to improve the protection at this and other places which he considered dangerous to young children.
