GRADE CHAMPIONSHIPS. The Auckland Hockey Association's championship matches wore continued on Saturday in ideal conditions. Tho senior matches resulted:—University defeated Areta by 2 goals to 1, and Mount Eden defeated Training College by 6 goals to 3. SENIOR GRADE. ARETA V. UNIVERSITY. The Areta and University teams met at Remuera, and a fast and interesting game resulted. The students at one time had a lead of 2 goals, scored by Garrard and ! M»nzios. but Areta made matters decidedly interesting in the concluding stages, and 1 horn a 8 scored. The game ended without further score. University .. ..2 Areta .. .. .. , " 111 Mr. R. H. Eillip was referee. | MOUNT EDEN V. TRAINING COLLEGE. The Mount Eden-Training College match, played at Remuera, was very even in the nrst i half, each aide scoring 1 goal. During the last 15 minutes of the game 7 goals were scorod. The goal-getters for Mount Eden were: Malcolm. A. Alexander. Woolford. Janson, and M. Alexander (2): and for Training College. SECOND GRADE. 2 Mount Eden beat University by 5 goals to Areta drew with Edendale Old Boys, each side scoring 1 goal. THIRD GRADE. Gordon boat Areta by 5 goals to 1. to 4° U Eden beat University by 5 goals Rovers, drew with Training College, each side scoring 1 goal. FOURTH GRADE.
