ANZACS WELL TRAINED.
GERMAN ,WAR METHODS.
SPECIAL COURSE GIVEN.
Times and Sydney Sun. Services. London, May 14.. Before going into the firing line the Anzacs are put through a course of training in German methods of warfare. They are placed in a specially built trench and then " gassed" and subjected to attack with flame projectors. They are not impressed by the gas, but state that the flame projectors are a most hor-ror-inspiring invention. However, it is not of much practical use against seasoned fighters,- although it may possibly momentarily affect the morale of the men, because it is terrifying to see burning liquid sweep over the parapets.
