Mr. S. C. Mahon has been appointed to represent the Auckland telegraph staff and Mr. H. M. Patrick the Auckland postal staff at the annual conference of the Post and Telegraph Association to bo opened in Wellington on May 16.
The Rov. W. ,7. Elliott, of Ash burton, who has been appointed to tho North Shore. Methodist Church, arrived on Thursday from To Aroha, where he has been spending a few days prior to commencing his new duties. "'Mr. Elliott was accompanied by Mrs. Elliott, and family.
