A sale of work in aid of Church of England missions was opened by Mrs. A. W. Averill yesterday afternoon at St. Mark's Parish Hall, Itcmuera lload. Tho various stalls were loaded with gifts of produce, and Oriental goods from various mission centres in India and elsewhere. There was .a large attendance of buyers. Tho sale was continued in the evening.
