SERVICE ON WESTERN FRONT.

Johannesburg, April 13.
Sir Joseph Robinson, a prominent mine-owner of Cape Colony, has offered a very large sum to assist in the despatch of 50,000 South Africans to help Britain on the Western front. Hr says Britain requires assistance to defeat the •.■neniy tin re, and urges the Government to follow the examples of Canada and Australia.
