MINISTRY RESIGNS,
UKERAL TO FORM CABINET'
By Telejwh— Asaociition— (Beceived April 14. 12.15 a.m.) Hobakt, April 13. The resignation of the Labour Ministry has been tendered to the Governor by the Premier, Mr. J. Earle. Mr. W. H. Leo, Leader of the Liberal Party, was sent for by His Excellency, and consented to form a Cabinet.
At the general elections, held on March. 25 the Liberals secured 15 seats and La-' hour 14, with one Independent, who in the previous Parliament had supported the' Labour Party. At the elections held in 1913 the two parties were returned in equal strength, the Labour Party securing a voting majority of one owing to the election of a Liberal to the Speakership.
