REVOLVER MISHAP.
SERGEANT WOUNDED IN HAND.
While on duty last evening Sergeant Henry Conway, of the Mount Eden guard, slipped and fell, with the result that his revolver exploded. Tho bullet entered Sergeant Conway's right hai<d. Ho was sent to the hospital, where he received treatment. He was afterwards able to leave the institution.
