OPOTIKI DAIRY COMPANY.
SCOPE OF OPERATIONS.
An amendment of the memorandum of association of the Opotiki Dairy Company, Ltd., was granted Dy Mr. Justice Chapman in Chambers yesterday on the motion of Mr. Schnauer. One purpose of the amendment, which had already been approved by the shareholders, was to give effect to an arrangement made last year with the Auckland Farmers' Freezing Company, under which that company was to enlarge its plant in Auckland to provide additional cold storago space, on the understanding that the cost, up to a maximum; of £15,000, should be covered by the dairy companies of the Auckland district taking up shares to that amount, in proportion to their outputs for the previous season.
