By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Peki.v, April 9. The tendency of the whole of Southern China is to join the movement against Yuan Shih-Kai. The President has not made the concessions necessary to sav« the situation, and has lost the sympathy of practically all prominent public men.
A largo part of the Northern army is isolated in the central province of Sze-chwan, into vr'aich incursions have been made by the Yunnanese revolutionaries. The troops are dispirited owing to tho renunciation of the monarchy-
Many fear the collapse of the present Government, followed by the division of the country into different military commands, but this can be avoided provided the Monarchists take no desperate steps to endeavour to keep Yuan in power.
