The converted"bus,;indeed, is;-a very valuable unit, at the p-[ front It has -been seen in its. usual paint and with; allots advertisements upon it; but raoro frequently it is painted ti neutral tint, and lias upon it signs' of. the particular branch ;of tho.service to which1 it is attached.,,'Sometimes:':its.'body::'is re':/ moved and a lorry body substituted. It is used, as we have already noted, for conveying troops to tho trenches;.and for such purposes as transporting.ammunition and food. ■ A number of tho.vehicles are-driven;by men \vho were once drivers of • London 'buses, and these have shown not only that skill which ! was so marked when they wero in the Old Country, but a fine fighting spirit.
