ONE-TREE HILL AFFAIRS.
The One-tree Hill Eoad Board met last evening. Present: Messrs. H. B. Morton, chairman, T. H. Bowe, H. Dobbie, and C. L. Slyfield. A letter was received from the district health officer, Br. Hughes, in reference to tile present epidemic of infantile paralysis, wherein the watering of streets was suggested as an efficient preventive measure. It was decided to reply to the effect that the board was unable to obtain the necessary water from the City Council on favourable teim The district inspector of nuisances is to be requested .to search all premises throughout the board's area, so as to ensure thoroughly sanitary conditions,
