MEN FOR THE FRONT.

TWELFTH REINFORCEMENTS. PROCEEDING TO CAMPS. DEPARTURE NEXT TUESDAY. The Auckland quota of the twelfth reinforcement* for the New Zealand Expeditionary force and the probationary noncommissioned officers for the fourteenth reinforcements will leave the city for the various training camps on Tuesdav. The Mounted Rifles and Army Service Corps sections will leave for Featherston by the midday Main Trunk express and all remaining arms, with the exception of the ambulance deUuls, by special train at 2.50 .P-m. The ambulance men will go South by the night express. The recruits who are to leave by the special train will parade at the Auckland Drill Hall at about one o'clock, and, headed by a band, will march from the Drill Hall at about two o'clock and proceed, via Welleslev and yuocn Streets to tho railway station". The city quota tor the twelfth reinforce- I ments is: Mounted Rifles, 68; Artillerv, 34 ; Engineers, 18 ; Signal Service, 4 ; Infantry, 120; Army Service Corps, 10; Ambulance, 5. A total of 249. The city quota of mm-commissioned officers for the fourteenth reinforcements is 22. Russell, Mr. Douglas Warren Russell, has enlisted in the infantry,,- He is a member of the staff of the Bank of New Zealand, and has been recently stationed at Lyttelton. He has had rive years' service in the artillery. Mr. Thomas Fleming, subeditor of the Christchurch Star, and at one time of the Christchurch Press and New Zealand Herald, and Mr. D. J. Guincy, of tho Lyttelton Times reporting staff, who is well known in athletic circles, have also enlisted. The ex-jockey, W. Holmes, and one of Mr. R. J. Mason's apprentices, W.
