[by TELEGRAPH. press ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Friday. The total value of war pensions so far granted by the Pensions Board, is £16,667 a year. Pensions have been granted to 44 soldiers, of a total annual value of £2549, making the average rate per man £57. To wives and children, 84 pensions have been granted, of an annual value of £7078, an average of £84. To other dependants 234 pensions have been granted, of a value of £7049, with an average of £30. The total number of pensions granted to all classes of claimants is 362, and the average rate of pension £46.
