MINING NEWS.
FOUR-IN-HAND.
The manager of the Fonr-in-Hand mine, Coromandel, reports that driving on the Four-in-Hand reef at No. 1 level has been discontinued. Driving is in progress on the Cuirassier reef, a little gold being seen. At the north intermediate level of tho Cuirassier reef 201b of picked stone were secured. The country and reef continue to look well.
