CHARGES OF DRUNKENNESS. lAt the Police Court yesterday, before Mr. F. V. Frazer. S.M., three male first offenders were each convicted and fined ss. Adele Ann Elizabeth Tomline, a second offender within six months, who had been remanded for medical treatment, was convicted and ordered to pay expenses, amounting to £1. A prohibition order was made against her. One female first offender was convicted, discharged, and prohibited, and another was remanded until Saturday for medical treatment. JUVENILE OFFENDER. James Henry Owens, of Ponsonby. was charged that, "being the father of a child bom on October 20. 1914. he failed within a period of 62 days to notify the Registrar of Births of the birth of such child. He was convicted and discharged. For importuning in Hobson Street. Martha Wilson, a first offender, was fined £2, in default 14 days' imprison ment.
