NATIONAL RESERVE.
AMBULANCE SECTION
The first annual general meeting of the ambulance section of the Auckland branch of the National Reserve was tyeld last evening. Captain E. Roberton presided over an attendance of about 50 members.
The annual report stated that the present membership of the company is about 75. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £139. A sum of £187 net was realised by the concert recently held in aid of the equipment fund. Captain Roberton stated that it was the only ambulance class he had instructed that had a larger attendance at the- end than at the beginning. He stated that about 12 members would shortly be going up for examination as St. John Ambulance delegates and for appointment as non-commissioned officers. After the examination applications for acceptance as recruits would be called for.
