DEATH OF AN OLD SETTLER.
Another old identity has passed away in the Awhitu district, in the person of Mrs. Robert Ritchie, of Orua Bay, in her 88th year. Mr. and Mrs. Ritchie sailed from Scotland on the s.s. Lord Ashley in May. 1857, landing in Auckland in' September of the same year. She leaves a husband, four daughters, two sons, twenty-nine grandchildren, and thirty-five great grandchildren.
