CROCERS' MINIMUM WAGE.

Conciliak tion Commissioner, has arrived at an agreement in the grocers* industrial dis- ; pute. The agreement, which will be submitted to the Arbitration Court to be made into a new award, provides for an increase in the minimum wage from £2 10s per weelc to £2 12s 6d at 21 years of age, and £2 17s 6d at 22. This brings Wellington into line with Auckland in the grocery trade. Holidays, hours, and other conditions are practically unaltered.
