AKARANA CLUB.

Tra Akarana Defence Rifle Club fired a Penrose on Saturday aftesnoon for vrormies presented by Mr. W. Tborne (A Section). Mr W. H. Shepherd (B Section), and Mr , J. G. Ness (C Section). Tea shots at'soo and 600 yards. The conditions were favourable, and some high-class scores were registered. Riflemen A. J. Letham. F. Wakefield, and N. P. Wyatt registered wins ana took the spoons.
