RUSSIA'S STERN PROTEST.
J ATTITUDE OF BULGABS. WILLING TO FIGHT SERVIA. (Received October 6., 2 a.m.) London, October 4. The newspapers approve Russia's stern protest to Bulgaria and express the opinion that the interests of the country are being over-ruled by. an ambitious German ruler and a few misguided generals. It is reported that the AustroGerman attack on Servia is now fixed for Thursday. French newspapers state that the Bulgarian peasantry are willing to fight Servia, against whom they nourish a grudge since 1913, but will refuse to raise a hand against their Russian liberators, who will likely land from the Black Sea- In the meantime Bulgaria is concentrating troops for the purpose of isolating Roumania and Servia and opening up the way for war stores for Constantinople.
