BUSINESS DONE YESTERDAY
Business for the week opened quietly on the sharemarket yesterday. In standard stocks New Zealand Insurances were in demand at £5 13s 6d and £5 14s, but sellers held for £5 18s. National Insurances found sales at (44s 9d). South British Insurances hardened, buyers quoting 92s fid and sellers asking 955. Waihis were looked for at 37s 9d, but sellers wanted 38s 6d. Sellers quoted 22s 3d for Waihi Grand Junctions and buyers were prepared to give 21s 9d. Talismans were available at 19s, and buyers quoted 18s 3d and 18s 6d. AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE.
