The formal opening will be held in a fortnight's time, when a match between the Epsom branch of the National Reserve and the club will be played. CARLTON CLUB. The Carlton Bowling Club will hold a tournament on Labour Day to wind up the winter season. ELLERSLIE CLUB. The Ellerslie bowling green was opened for. play on Saturday, but the weather conditions were unfavourable, a dritzling. rain falling all the afternoon.
