BOWLING
CALLIOPE CLUB.
A general meeting of the Calliope Club was held at the pavilion on Wednesday evening when the following officers were elected for the coming season: —President, Mr. Geo. A. Gribbin; ■vice-presidents, Messrs. W. H. Bartlett and C. G. Macindoe: hon. fee rotary and treasu.-ar, Mr. Herbert Linder: auditor, Mr. E. S. Wight: selection committee, Messrs. E. S. Wight, W. F. Stevenson and G. M. Reid: delegate to Bowling Association, Mr. H. Linder. Several new members were elected and it is proposed to open the bowling . green on October 30 The Croquet Club in connection with the Calliope Bowling Club will hold its annual meeting at an early date. The officials anticipate a much laiger membership than last year. GREY LYNN V. ROCKY NOOK. The following teams will represent Grey Lynn to-day:— Rocky Nook Davies, C. Mirfin. G. Clark, J.
