CHARGE OF BURGLARY.
ONE MAN COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. (BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Eltham, Thursday At the Magistrate's Court this morning two young men, William Keith and Sam White, were again before two justices of the peace, Messrs. Dive and Parrot, to answer a second charge of burglary at Wilkinson's Store. The police offered no evidence against Keith, and the charge against him was withdrawn. Evidence showed that White tunnelled under the store and made entry through a ventilator. Search made in White's house revealed groceries and drapery valued at £37 5s 9d. Goods were also concealed in the tunnelunder the store to the value of £20 6s Id— £57 lis lOd in all. White was committed for trial. He is .a married man and has five children. He is in bad physical condition, and frequently takes fits.
