Dcxcax McGregor, one of the best known and earliest settlors in the Northem Wairoa district, fractured his left leg. just above the ankle, by tripping on a footway at Tangitcroria on Friday. He was conveyed by launch to a DargaviUa private hospital, and is making a good recovery. . "
