WHERE IS LORD ERNE?
LAST SEEN WITH GERMANS. Ax application was made in the Land Judge's Court by the Dowager Lady Erne and others for an order appointing an interim receiver and manager over the family estates of Lord Erne, who was & lieutenant-colonel in the Royal Horse Guards. Mr. Brown, K.C., said that on November 1 Lord Erne disappeared at Wytechaete, Belgium. He might be dead, bat it wae hoped he was a prisoner. He went from the British lines to bring in some men who had separated from his regiment. This was against the advice of Captain Bowlby, who thought that the men might be Germane. • Lord Erne was seen going up to the men, who closed round him, and he did not return. Mr. Justice Ross appointed Mr. Arthur 0. Crichton (Lord Erne's second brother) receiver over the estates.
