The Wellington Trades and Labour Council represented to the Minister for Education yesterday, the need to watch the proposal that school children collect seeds, and see that the children are not exploited by farmers or their education interfered with. The Hon. J. A. Hanan replied that he was watching the-scheme and if the children were employed to their detriment, he would take steps to stop it.
