They are also convinced that Bulgaria has given up the idea of joining Austria and Germany. It is reported that the Premier of Greece has arranged for a conference of the Premiers and military attaches of Servia, Roumania, Bulgaria, and Greece. It is reported from Athens that the Saltan of Turkey has sent an urgent demand to the Kaiser for help, stating that the Turks are unable to hold out longer at Gallipoli. Rome reports state that cholera and typhus are raging in . . . the Central Empires, and that the efforts to combat them are ; - : proving inadequate. The casualties caused by the Zeppelin raid over London on Wednesday night were 20 persons killed and 86 injured. Only four of these were soldiers. There is an unconfirmed report- from Amsterdam that a Zeppelin returning from a raid exploded over Brussels.
