BUSINESS DONE YESTERDAY. ___ ! The sharemarket' was not very busy yesterday: In standard stocks, New Zealand Insurances were looked for at £5 13s, but sellers wanted £5 16s. Buyers quoted 88s and 90s for South British Insurances, but sellers held for 955. A sale of Auckland Trams (ord.) was effected at 21s 3d. Waihis sold at 355, and sellers closed at 35s 6d. Business in Grand Junctions was done at 21s 3d. Talismans changed hands at 18s, but they afterwards fell to 17s 9d to (17s 6d).
