Brisbane, September 10, At the last of the September series of wool sales 15,091 bales were offered. Euvers from Italy and Japan were operating heavily. Prices were: Greasy, 16$ d; scoured, ; 27id. As compared with July prices, good shafty greasy wool was at par, medium and short greasy 7£, and good scoured 10 per cent, lower. BANK OF AUSTRALASIA. "' DIVIDEND DECLARED. By Telegraph— Association— London, September 9. The . Bank of Australasia has declared a dividend of 14s, and a bonus of 12s. The sum of £40,000 is placed to reserve, and £113,353 carried forward.

FRUIT AND PRODUCE MARKET. Business in the fruit and produce market has again been dull during the week, and sales in fruit are still confined to local apples, with lemons and Poorman oranges. Any choice samples of the foregoing sell well. The first shipment of Canadian apples is due on September' 20. adney fruit, ex Niagara, sold ( fairly fruit reaching the market in' much better condition. Fiji bananas are due by the Navua on Monday, and a good demand is looked for. Potatoes are in full supply at slightly lower rates. New potatoes are selling i exceptionally well. Onions from San Francisco are now established on the market, and the condition is good. Local Brown Spanish samples are mostly growing, and require rebagging. Fresh vegetables are selling welL Pumpkins and kumeras are scarce.

Fresh egra and farmers' butter remain at last week's rates.

CANTERBURY PRODUCE MARKET. [BT TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christchurch, Friday. Some small lots of wheat are offering, which had been retained by farmers for seed, but are not required. There are, however, no buyers, even at the low prices that would be accepted. There are no large lots of wheat offering. The oat market is also dull and there is little demand for oatsheaf chaff. The potato market is easier, several lines having been purchased at £4 10s, and others at £4 15s and £5 during the last few days, bat lower figures are now only obtainable. SALE OF LEASES. CHURCH OF ENGLAND PROPERTIES. A sale of leases on various properties at Parnell and Remuera was held by Messrs. R. C. Can and Son yesterday afternoon on behalf of the Church of England Diocesan trustees. There was a large attendance, and bidding was good, in some cases Competition being very spirited. The leases of the following properties were sold for a period of 21 years, with right of renewal every 21 years thereafter. Eighteen allotments fronting Mountain Road and Russell Road, Remuera: Lots 1 'and 2, £16 10s each; lot 3, £11 10s;

lota 10 to 13, £7 10s each; lota 16 and 17, £6 each. A level allotment at the corner of Ayr Street and Laurie Avenue, having a frontage of 55ft and depth of 150 ft, realised £26 10s. Allotment in Brighton Road, with 50ft frontage and depth 106 ft, brought £12.
