RIFLE-SHOOTING. I The annual meeting of the Auckland City Rifle Club took place at the Drill Hall on Thursday evening. There was a good attend- < ance of members. ! The trophies won during the past season : were presented by tho president. Among ' these a medal, given by Lieutenant-Colonel I A. -M Myers for tho club champion for 1915. I was presented to Rifleman W. J. Morgan. I Rifleman N. Gibber received a cujo presented ! by the president for the B Class champion | for 1915. A number of new trophies were j promised for the coming year. I The following officers were elected : —Presi- ' dent, Mr. X. P. White; vice-president, Mr. A. Fatrick; secretary, Mr. G. Mali; treasurer, Mr J. P. White; committee, Messrs. Yeo. Brownlee, Spry, Danrell. and j Gibbie; auditor, Mr. J. Anderson The club's opening day of the season was fixed for the first Saturday in October, and it was decided to invite tho Akarana and Dovonport Clubs to join in a friendly teams match.
