The Rev. and Mrs. A. Selwvn Bean, of Rugby, England, are staving at the Grand Hotel.
Mr. W. M. Hannay. of Wellington, who is visiting Auckland, is staying at the Grand Hotel. °
Mr. E. A. Craig returned to Auckland from the South by yesterday afternoon s Main Trunk express.
Mr. G. J. Garland, chairman of the Auckland Education Board, left for Cambridge by last night's Main Trunk express.
Colonel Cosgrove. chief commissioner of boy scouts for the Dominion, returned to Wellington yesterday by the mid-day Main Trunk express.
Mr. W. B. Colbeck. vice-chairman of the Auckland Stock Exchange, left for Wellington by the mid-day express vester day to attend a conference of sharVhrokers which will be held to-day.
Mr. Robert Burns, president of th» Auckland Chamber of Commerce and acting-Consul for Belgium, leaves on a trip to England by the Shaw. SaviU and Albion liner lonic from Wellington next week. For the past few weeks Mr. Burn* has been in ill-health and his medical advisers have intimated that i. is imperative that ho should take a complete rest. He will be accompanied bv Mrs. Burns.'
