MONTH OF PIRACY.
OVER EIGHTY SHIPS SUNK. THOUSAND LIVES LOST. Loxdox, September 1. The Board of Trade announces that the Germans in the month of August sank 39 sailing vessels totalling 2019 tons, and 50 steamships totalling 81,490 tons. The lives lost were 1095, of which 1011 were, lost in the transport Royal Edward at the Dardanelles.
