Wei.iJlNgtox. Thursday. The total value of goods imported into New Zealand from all countries during the quarter ended June 50 was £4,487,934, including £533,261 of specie. In. the corresponding period of last year the total was £4,897,176, including specie to the value of £300,010. The Customs duties collected in the respective quarters were as follow — 1915. 191*. £ £ General tariff . . . . 837,995 751,016 Preferential tariff . . 16,044 36,926 South African tariff .. 1,657 975 Totals . . .-. i855.T2i? £778.947 The excise duties collected last quarter totalled £33,525, as against £31,242 a year ago.
