THE RUGBY GAME.

MEETING OF AUCKLAND UNION.

A meetisg of the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby Union was held in the Amateur Sports Clubroom last evoning. Present: Messrs. M. J. Sheahan, chairman, T. Aitkou, H. Clay, A. Twinatne, F. J. Ohlson, C. V. Langsford, secretary.

The Wanganui Union wrote asking whether the Auckland Union would allow the touring representative team to play at Wanganui on the way back from Wellington. It was decided to reply regretting that all arrangements for the tour had been made and that most of the members of the team would bo unable to get the extra leave to play at Wanganui.

Mr. T. Buxton was appointed manager of the Auckland touring team, which will leave Auckland next Wednesday in order to play matches against Taranaki and Wellington.
