SWIMMING.
TEACHING BY EASY METHOD. Iln response to an invitation issued by Mr. R H. W. Bligh. 12 boys presented themselves at the Municipal Tepid Bath on 1 Fridiy evening and all were taught to swim in a few minutes by a method both simple and effective. On Saturday afternoon. 14 boys came forward and all were taught to swim. Mr. Bligh intends to leave for Sydney next Monday, and therefore any boy who ; desires to bo taught to ■ swim should leave 1 his name at the office ;of Winstone's, Ltd., Union Buildings. Customs Street, and arrangements will be made to teach him.
