BOWLING.
REMUERA CLUB. The annual general meeting of theßemuera Bowling Club will be held in the pavilion. Market Road, on July 28, when the annual report and balance-sheet will bo submitted, officers elected, and prizes won last season presented. Before the annual meeting an extraordinary general meeting of members will be held to consider and, if thought advisable, to amend rules 3, '20, and 22. According to rule 3 the champion of the year is a member of the Management Committee of the club. It is proposed that tho words "and champion for the year" be struck out of the rule. Rule -0 deals with the secretary's duties, and states that the secretary shall be ex officio a member of all committees. It is proposed that the words "with the exception of the match committee" be added to tho rule. Rule 22 deals with the composition of the match committee, and it is proposed that the word "four" be deleted and in lieu thereof the following vcrds be inserted: "not more than three " In the event of the foregoing notice of motion or any part being carried, it will be proposed that the rule, or rules, as amended shall come into operation at once.
