THE TRENTHAM COMMISSION.
INVESTIGATION BY DOCTORS. [nv TEi.K(,n\rH. —special correspondent.] Wellington, Tuesday. The Trentham Commission has appointed Doctors J. M. Mason. Elliott. .1. M. Christie. Gibba. and Ciesen to inspect and report upon the Trentham camp in regard to the hospital arrangements and the gencr.il health precautions at the camp. The members of this committee commenced their inspection yesterday. The Hon. 1!. 11. Rhodes has asked Colonel Ratfh'lor. the well-known Dunedin doctor, who has just returned from Egypt, to visit the Trenthani camp and report to him upon the arrangements there and the general health affairs of the camp. The Minister, in accordance with a request in the House of Representatives by Dr. Newman, has also asked Dr. Biitchelor and Dr. A. A. Martin to furnish to the Defence Minister, the Hon. .las. Allen, a report upon the hospital arrangements at the front.
