AUSTRALIAN CASUALTIES.
FIFTY KILLED IN ACTION. OVER HUNDRED WOUNDED. (Received July 7, 1.3"5 p.m.) Sydney, July 7. The forty-ninth list of Australian casualties at the Dardanelles includes:— Killed in Action : Major Gregory ; Lieutenants Gow and MacLeod ; and 47 non-commissioned officers and men. Died of Wounds: Twenty noncommissioned officers and men. Wounded: Lieutenant - Colonel White Lieutenants MacAlpin, McKinnon, Christie, Massie, Levy, and Dunning; and 107 non-commissioned officers and men. Missing: Lieutenant Chapman, and nine non-commissioned officers and men. Private G. W. Dawson, who was serving with the Australians and is missing, formerly lived in New Zealand. Private R. H. Catlin, who is reported to have been killed in action, was formerly a member of the New Zealand police force.
