RAGLAN COUNTY.
PETITION FOR SUBDIVISION. A petition, signed by 332 inhabitants of the County of Raglan, asking for the subdivision of the county, was presented to the House of Representatives yesterday bv Mr. Bollard (Raglan). The petitioners pointed out that the total area of the county is 824 square miles, which, they say is too great an area to be satisfactorily administered by one body. They ask that a portion of the county, containing 432 square miles, be formed into a separate county. A Bill providing for the constitution of a new county, to be formed out of a portion of the Raglan County, and to ho called the Liverpool County, has already been introduced by Mr. Bollard.
