ITALIANS ATTACK FROM GORZ TO SEA.
FIGHTING DEVELOPS INTO GREAT BATTLE. COMPLETE REPULSE CLAIMED BY AUSTRIANS. (Received July 7, 8.5 p.m ) London, July 6. An Austrian official communique states: " Fighting in the Gorz district, on the Isonzo, developed yesterday into a great battle as the result of an attack by the third Italian army, including four army corps, which advanced under the protection of formidable artillery fire against our front from the bridgehead at Gorz to the sea. The attacks were completely repulsed, the enemy sufferinc; terrible losses."
