SWANSON GUM RESERVE.
EXPERIMENTAL FARM SUGGESTED. [BY TELEGRAPH.SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT. J Wellington, Wednesday. The Minister for Lands was asked to-day by Mr. Harris (Waitemata) whether he will set aside 50 acres of the Swanson kauri gum reserve, shortly to be opened for selection for the purpose of establishing an experimental farm. Mr. Massey, Minister for Lands, replied that the suggestion would receive careful consideration, and that officers of the Department of Lands and Agriculture would inspect and report on the land at an early date.
