CLERGYMAN'S DEATH.

— ...— CLAIM FOR INSURANCE. [by TELEGRAPH.— association.] Dunedin, Monday. The Supremo Court was occupied to-day by an action between the Public Trustee, as executor of the will of the lato Rev. E. L. Woodhouse, and the National Insurance Company, to recover £500, the amount of an accident insurance policy. Mr. Woodhouse, an Anglican clergyman, was found drowned in the Molyneau River, a year ago. The company disputed 1 the claim, mainly on the ground that it was not proved that death was accidental within the meaning of the term of the policy. After the case had been gone into at soino length, judgment was consented to for the sum claimed. Certain costs were allowed, but witnesses' expenses and costs of second counsel were refused, His Honor adding that intonation throwing a light on particulars concerning the death of Mr. Woodhouse should have been communicated to defendants, by plaintiff..
