NEW ZEALANDER GALLANT FIGHT FOR A TRENCH
TWICE DRIVEN OUT BY FUSILLADE OF BOMBS.
CONSTANT FIGHTING REPORTED AT QUINN'S',' POST. London, June 20, The official Australian correspondent at the Dardanelles, Mr. C; E. W. Boan, writing on Juno 8, said everything was quiet except at Quinh's Post, where there was constant fighting between small partes, and it had then resulted in a slight advance. The New Zealanders, after gallantly holding a trench for eight hours, were driven out by a fusillade of bombs. They again took the same trench, and were again driven out, leaving the forces as they were.
