ANOTHER TRAGEDY IN FIJI.

A case of attempted murder, followed by suicide, was reported at Suva 011 Juno 15, from Mr. Powell's estate at Waidoi. The victim of the attack was an Indian woman, and the quarrel had arisen, it is believed, over some bags of rice. Her assailant, a man, hacked the woman's arm off and cut her about the head, and he then cut his throat. The woman was taken to tho Colonial . Hospital.
