KAIPARA LICENSING BENCH.
Tjik quarterly meeting of the KaiparS Licensing Committee was held at Dargaville on Thursday. There were present: Messrs. E. Page, S.M., J. A. McLean, V. Trounson, D. Finlayson. and G. N. Hayes. The following hotel licenses were granted — Kaukapakapa Hotel, Win. Gallagher; Aratapu Hotel, E. M. Ley don: Mangawhare Hotel, J. E. Reid; Opanaki Hotel. H. K. Simpson. Renewals were granted as follows : — Central Hotel, S. Thompson: Northern Wairoa Hotel, F. L. Hodges; Pahi Hotel, J. Ryan; Kaipara Hotel, Ellen McEwin; Helensville Hotel, E. 11. Cucksey; Terminus Hotel, A. Bishop; Kumeu Hotel, J. N. Grifl'm; Riverhead Hotel, T. W. Deacon; Tangiteroria Hotel, J. Mewett; Tokatoka Hotel, 11. H. Kidd. Transfers were granted from Edwin Dwyer to E. M. Leydon in respect to the Aratapu Hotel, and from Alfred Underwood to J. E. Reid, Mangawhare Hotel; and from George Donaldson to G. K. Simpson. Opanaki Hotel. Packet licenses were issued to the steamers Wairua, Aotea, and Tnirangi.
