Kabangaiiakk, Fridav. A London cablegram states that the annual meeting of the Talisman Go.d Mining Company passed off satisfactorily, and also that tho dividends will be declared at the end of each quarter 111 future, thereby postponing payment by one month.

MOUNT MORGAN MINE.

IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENT. By Telegraph— Association— Brisbane, Juno 18. There has been an important development in the Mount Morgan mine. 'Hie drive from the 850 ft level has disclosed an additional 22ft of, ore, milking with other recent developments 64ft averaging 9.66dwt of gold, and 2.36 per cent, of copper.

WAITANGI CONSOLIDATED. During the past week the loading stopo in No. 3 level, east, "Waitangi Consolidated mine, Thames, was shot down for a further distance of 10ft west of No. 2 crosscut, above No. 1 rise. A abort rise was started in the western end of this block to connect with the intermediate level. This was done to improve the ventilation, and would falso serve for filling-in purposes. Tho rise was up 10ft above tho back of the stope, and another 25ft of rising should reach tho intermediate level. The reef in this end was looking well, showing good minerals, also strong dabs of free gold. In No. 2 level, driving on the footwall portion of tho reef east of No. 1 crosscut, a further distance of Bft was driven. Tho ore looked very well, showing good minerals.

OCCIDENTAL CONSOLIDATED. The manager of tho Occidental Consolidated mine, Thames, telegraphed yesterday that 151b of specimens had boon obtained from the south stope above No. 5 level.
