HEAVY FIGHTING IN EAST BATTLE ALONG WHOLE FRONT. SUCCESSFUL FRENCH ASSAULTS Advices from Udine, in North Italy, state that the Italian attack on the Austrian fortress of Gorz, on the Isonzo, which . has been described as the hey to Trieste, has practically begun.
