FORGERIES BY GERMANS.
CONFESSIONS OF A SPY.

London, June 14. The London correspondent of the New York Sun states that the spy Rosenthal has confessed that he \v«a sent by Captain Priecer, the head of the German spy system, who had a perfect equipment for the manufacture of fraudulent American passports. Priecer suggested that if he was afraid to travel on an emergency passport issued in Berlin at the beginning of the war he cculd have another. Priecer showed him American passports in proper form on proper parchment, also forged dies whereby the United States seal could be reproduced.
Rosenthal has attempted to commit suicide since his arrest.
Tim New York Sun says that Rosenthal's confession regarding Priecer is corroborated by uncontrovertible evidence in New York.
